# Fee Discounts for $SPRK Stakers

With the relaunch of **SparkDEX Eternal Perps Exchange on Flare Network**, active traders can now save more simply by staking their $SPRK. When you stake your tokens, you receive **xSPRK**, which not only earns you staking emissions but also unlocks **exclusive perpetual trading fee discounts** - directly tied to how much xSPRK you hold.

#### How It Works

1. **Stake $SPRK to Get xSPRK**
   * Go to the [**SparkDEX Stake Page.**](https://sparkdex.ai/stake)
   * Deposit your $SPRK tokens to mint **xSPRK** at a 1:1 ratio.
   * Your xSPRK balance increases over time as staking emissions accrue.
2. **Hold xSPRK and Trade on SparkDEX Perps**
   * Your discount is applied **automatically** — there’s no need to claim or activate anything.
   * Discounts apply to all **position (trading) fees** when opening or closing positions.
3. **Move Up the Tiers**
   * The more xSPRK you hold, the higher your fee discount.
   * Your discount tier is determined dynamically, based on your xSPRK balance at the time of trade.

> If you hold 100,000 xSPRK, you qualify for **Tier 2**, and your perpetual position fees will automatically be reduced by **10%** on every trade.
